Accreditation examinations of educational and professional programs took place at the department

According to the orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1907-l dated November 09, 2018 and No. 1960-l dated November 13, 2018, "On conducting an accreditation examination", initial accreditation examinations of the educational and professional programs “Human geography” and “Geography of Recreation and Tourism” on the specialty 106 Geography by the second (master's) level of higher education was carried out at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University from November 21 to 23, 2018.

The composition of expert commissions was approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine:

Educational and professional program "Human Geography"

- Head of the Department of Human Geography, Kherson State University, D.Sc. in Geography, Assoc. Prof. Daria Malchykova

- Assistant Professor of the Department of Human Geography, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, PhD in Geography, Assoc. Prof. Nataliia Mezentseva;

Educational and professional program “Geography of Recreation and Tourism”

- Dean of the Faculty of Biology, Geography and Ecology of Kherson State University, D.Sc. in Geography, Assoc. Prof. Ihor Pylypenko;

- Dean of the Faculty of Geography of Ternopil National Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Hnatiuk, PhD in Geography, Assoc. Prof. Andrii Kuzyshyn.

During the accreditation examination, the indicated expert commissions examined the accreditation files submitted by V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and conducted an expert assessment of the compliance of educational activities with the licensing conditions for the educational activities of educational establishments and the state requirements for accreditation for the training specialists at the level of higher education of the Master.

According to the results of the initial accreditation examination of the educational and professional programs “Human Geography” and “Geography of Recreation and Tourism” from the specialty 106 Geography by the second (master's) level at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the following conclusions were made by expert commissions.

  1. All materials submitted by V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University for the accreditation of educational and professional programs “Human Geography” and “Geography of Recreation and Tourism” on the specialty 106 Geography on the Master’s level of higher education, in terms of volume, form and content meet the established requirements.

  2. Violations were not revealed based on the study of the submitted materials and verification of the activities of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

  3. The material, technical, educational, informational, scientific and personnel potential of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University corresponds to the Licensing conditions for the provision of educational services in the field of higher education and state requirements for accreditation, which provides the state guarantee of the quality of education for the educational and professional programs “Human Geography” and “Geography of Recreation and Tourism” from the specialty 106 Geography by the second (master's) level.
