Yurii Kandyba


Yurii Kandyba – PhD in Geography, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

He was born on January 10, 1977 in Kharkiv. From 1993 to 1998 he had been studying at the Faculty of Geology and Geography of A. Gorky Kharkov State University. From 2005 till 2010 he had been working as a senior lecturer of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies. In 2009 he defended the thesis on "Development of human-geographical thought in Kharkiv region". Since 2010 he has been working as associate professor of the department.
