PhD and Doctoral Studies

Philosophy Doctor: specialty 11.00.02 - economic and social geography. Training takes place on public order and on a contract basis, there can choose full-time - 3 years or part-time - 4 years – form of study1.


Seekers for PhD or Doctoral Degree can get a supervisor and assistant of the Department and complete their thesis. The duration of training is flexible.


For those, who want to attend PhD and doctorate studies it is advised to set an interview with a prospective supervisor and the head of the Department before submitting their applications.


You can find the application and a list of required documents at the University web-page, but it usually includes the following:

  1. The application addressed to the Rector, indicating specialty.
  2. Curriculum Vitae (information about employment).
  3. 4 photos 3x4 cm.
  4. Detailed autobiography.
  5. Copies of diploma (bachelor's, master's, specialist).
  6. Copies of diploma supplements.
  7. Research proposal or list of scientific publications (if any).
  8. information about passed PhD exams (if any).
  9. Medical health certificate
  10. Medical insurance certificate
  11. copy of the passport.
  12. Copy of the labour document (to certify in the Personnel Department in the previous job )
  13. Passport, Diploma, Diploma Supplement should be shown in person.

Documents are submitted in Ukrainian from July 17 to July 31 daily from 13-00 to 15-30, except Saturday and Sunday.
