Our achievements


During 2018-2019 a.y. the students of the department actively participated in educational and scientific events, in particular, in the University competition of student scientific papers on natural sciences – 2 persons (Venhryn D. - first place, Zaitsev E. - third place) and Kharkiv regional competition of student scientific papers on natural sciences – 2 persons (Venhryn D. – diploma of the second degree, supervisor – associate professor Segida K. Yu., Zaitsev E. – diploma of the third degree, supervisor – associate professor Kandyba Yu. I.)

In 2018-2019 applications for funding for student and staff mobility between universities (for the 2018-2020 programming periods) from the Erasmus + Program (with the University of Oradea (Romania) and the University of Girona (Spain)) have been approved.

During the 2nd semester 2018-2019 a.y. the 1st year master student Daria Venhryn studied at the University of Girona (Spain), 1st year master students Anastasiia Kuznetsova and Olha Popovych – at Tallinn University (Estonia) under the Erasmus + program.

On September 19, 2018, the Department was visited by Professor of the Department of Geography, University of Girona, Josep Vila Subiros for the purpose of lecturing, sharing experience in scientific and educational activities.

On November 8, 2018, the Department was visited by Associate Professor of Recreational Management of the School of Natural Sciences and Health of Tallinn University (Estonia), Mart Reimann, for the purpose of lecturing, sharing experience in scientific and educational activities.

Mart Reimann, Associate Professor of Recreational Management of the School of Natural Sciences and Health of Tallinn University (Estonia) visited the department (May 6-10).

Within the framework of the Study Tours to Poland program (Republic of Poland) a the 2nd year student Daria Ushkvarok was trained during the second semester of 2018-2019 a.y.

On April 22-26, 2019 Prof. L. Niemets and Assoc. K. Sehida passed an internship at Tallinn University (Estonia) under the Erasmus + program.

On May 20-26, 2019 Assoc. L. Kliuchko passed an internship at the University of Girona (Spain) under the Erasmus + program.

The following joint applications have been submitted for funding for student and staff mobility between Erasmus + universities (with the University of Oradea (Romania), University of Girona (Spain) and Tallinn University (Estonia) for the 2019-2021 programming periods).
