A meeting of the Discussion Club for students, PhD students and young scientists was held

On April 21, 2021, a meeting of the Discussion Club for students, PhD students and young scientists of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies was held online. The meeting was attended by lecturers Kateryna KRAVCHENKO, Kateryna SEHIDA, Ievheniia TELEBIENIEVA, Liudmyla KLIUCHKO and students of bachelor's and master's level. As part of the course "Workshop: Planning Excursion Routes", a 4th year student studying in the educational-professional program "Geography of Recreation and Tourism" specialty 106 Geography, Yana YURCHENKO presented an author's virtual tour of the Antalya coast of Turkey "Demre-Mira-Kekova". During the virtual tour, Yana acquainted students with the history of the Antalya coast, its natural and geographical features, famous tourist attractions such as the St. Nicholas Wonderworker’ Church in Mira, the sarcophagus containing the Nicholas Ugodnik’s relics, "eternal fire" on Mount Yanartash, Lycian rock tombs, an amphitheater in the city of Lycia, the ruins of the city of Simena, which sank many centuries ago as a result of a strong earthquake, and so on.

In addition, the student shared her experience of internship at Tez Tour, features of work organization, excursions, etc.
