On April 19, 2023, the II round of the 48th Regional Olympiad of young geologists and geographers of Kharkiv region took place online.
High school pupils from the Kharkiv, Poltava, and Zaporizhzhia regions were invited to participate in the intramural tour – (the winners of the 1st extramural tour).
The students and teachers were greeted by Valentina REDINA, PhD in Pedagogy, Director of the CI "Kharkiv Regional Station of Young Tourists" of the Kharkiv Regional Council, Kateryna KRAVCHENKO, PhD in Geography, Associate Professor of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Geology, Geography, and Recreation and Tourism of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Iryna SKRYL, PhD in Geography, Associate Professor of the Department of Humam Geography and Regional Studies of Karazin Kharkiv National University, Head of the Department of Local Studies of the CI "Kharkiv Regional Station of Young Tourists" of the Kharkiv Regional Council, Liudmyla MOSKALENKO, production geologist.
Pupils presented interesting presentations from various fields of geology and geography, answered the jury members’ questions.
The absolute winners of the Olympiad were determined according to the results of the I and II rounds.
