On April 11, 2026, the informative lecture for applicants and pupils was held within the framework of the “GeoAcademy” project of the Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University,.
The speaker of the event was the PhD student and senior lecturer of the department Daria Venhryn, who spoke on the topic “Sustainable Development Goals for Everyone ”. During the lecture, the participants had the opportunity not only to get acquainted with the key aspects of the global challenges of our time, but also to better understand the role of geography in solving them.
The interactive part of the event was of particular interest, namely a thematic board game, which allowed the participants to consolidate the knowledge gained in an accessible and exciting form. The students also received useful materials for preparing for the NMT, which made the event not only informative, but also practically oriented.
We express our sincere gratitude to the speaker for her professionalism, inspiration and modern approach to teaching, as well as to all participants for their activity and interest.
The event once again confirmed the importance of popularizing geographical education and integrating innovative teaching methods. Comprehension of the modern world and a responsible attitude towards its future are formed through the combination of knowledge and practice.
