On October 31, 2019, an open lecture of the professor of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies S. Kostrikov was held on the topic: "Encoding of graphic information in modern software and hardware" for the 2nd year students who study on the specialty 106 "Geography". The professor revealed in the lecture the concept of a code, benefits of graphical presentation of information over tabular, forms of graphics, features of additive and subtractive color models.
