On June 26, 2023, at the Academic Council of the University of the Head of the Department of Hyman Geography and Regional Studies, D.Sc. in Geography, prof. Liudmyla Niemets was awarded the Honorary Distinction of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University "For service to Karazin University" for many years of conscientious work, a significant contribution to the development of Karazin University and on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of her birth.
