A digital exhibition-presentation of the project “Urban Hackathon for the Revitalization of Student Campus Spaces” was held

On June 16, 2026, a digital exhibition-presentation of the project “Urban Hackathon for the Revitalization of Student Campus Spaces” was held at Karazin University. The project is implemented with the financial support of the International Visegrad Fund within the framework of the V4 Gen Mini-Grant program.

The results of the project were presented by Daria Venhryn, a graduate student and senior lecturer of the department. During the presentation, she familiarized those present with the main stages of the project implementation, presented the final work of student teams, and also presented a monograph prepared based on the project results.

The discussion was joined by the participants of the hackathon, namely students Orest Dunikov and Oksana Apanasenko, who shared their own experience working on the project and impressions of participating in the international initiative.

In addition to the presentation part, the results of the project were available for viewing by all visitors to the university on digital screens in the main building. This format allowed to draw the attention of the university community to the issues of revitalizing student spaces, developing modern approaches to urban planning, and the role of youth in creating a comfortable and sustainable educational environment.

The exhibition was an important stage in disseminating the project results and confirmed the significant potential of international cooperation, student initiatives, and an interdisciplinary approach to the development of university spaces.
