On September 15, 2021 A working meeting of lecturers of the department of Human Geography and Regional Studies took place with representatives of the University of Ostrava (Czech Republic). The Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies was represented by the Head of the Department, D.Sc. in Geography, Prof. Liudmyla NIEMETS, Associate Professors of the department, D.Sc. in Geography, Associate Professor Kateryna SEHIDA, Ph.D. in Geography, Associate Professor Liudmyla KLIUCHKO, Ph.D. in Geography, Associate Professor Ievgeniia TELEBIENIEVA, Ph.D. in Geography Kateryna KRAVCHENKO and Ph.D. in Geography Pavlo KOBYLIN. The University of Ostrava was represented by: Dr. Vincenc KOPECEK, Deputy Head of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Development, Dr. Lukas LAS, Departmental Erasmus Coordinator, and Ms. Bojana YAZIDZIOGLUI, International Department Officer). Colleagues discussed areas of cooperation under the Erasmus+ academic mobility program. It is planned to submit a joint application for funding under this program to the Ministry of Education, Youth, Physical Education of the Czech Republic, and sign an Interinstitutional Agreement between institutions from programme and partner countries to ensure student and staff mobility between universities in the near future.
