On January 10-12, 2018, the reception of the delegation of Tallinn University (Tallinn, Estonia) was organized at the university at the initiative of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies. The delegation consisted of prof. Tiit Land, Rector of Tallinn University, Marth Reimann, Associate Professor of Recreational Management of the School of Natural Sciences and Health, Kätlin Keinast, International Cooperation Senior Specialist. During the visit, the members of the delegation met with the rector of our university, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Bakirov V.S. As a result, the agreement on cooperation between V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and Tallinn University was signed. the staff of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies was held the presentation of the department and discussed possibilities of joint participation of two universities in the programs of academic mobility Erasmus + and implementation of research projects in the field of human geography that can be funded by the Estonian Fund for Development Cooperation. Also, the delegation met with the students of the Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism who told the audience about Estonia, Tallinn University, curricula, the summer schools offered by this university, and special attention was paid to the program of recreational management. Excursions to the University's museums (the History Museum of V.N. Karazin National University, the Archaeological Museum, Henryk Semiradsky Art Gallery) and around the city of Kharkiv were organized for guests.
