The 3rd year students of the group GC-32 took place field stage of industrial practice in the Sumy region under the supervision of associate professor Yurii Kandyba (V.N. Karazin KhNU) and associate professors
Olesia Kornus and Anatilii Kornus (Sumy SPU named after A.S. Makarenko) from June 13 to June 21, 2019
During the practice, radial exits from Sumy to the cities of the region were carried out. Students visited the state historical and cultural preserves in Putivl city, Glukhiv, Romny ("Posyllya"), studied the historical-geographical and ethnographic features of Sumy region, peculiarities of the organization of tourist activity in the region.
Among the most interesting tourist attractions were the Museum of Partisan Glory "Spadshchansky Forest" and the Museum of Weapons and Military Equipment near Putivl, the Museum of Local Studies, the Three Anastasievskaya Church, the Kiev Gate in Glukhiv, the Golitsyn Palace and Museum of Chocolate in Trostyanets, the Romny Museum of Local Studies, the Memorial Complex of the last Zaporizhzhya Sich Kosh Petro Kalnyshevsky in the village of Pustovytivka.
Students also got acquainted with work of the leading industrial enterprises of the region, in particular, visited the plants "Nasosenergomash", "Slobozhanska ceramics".
A great interest in the students was caused by the visit of the Sumy city center of ecological and naturalistic creativity of the pupil youth, which showed the peculiarities of the organization of educational work with schoolchildren.
During the practice, statistical materials reflecting the socio-economic situation in Sumy region were collected, including information about its population, economy, service sector.
Based on the materials collected during the field stage, students will prepare a comprehensive report reflecting the territorial features of the socio-economic development of Sumy region.
