The student of the department studied in Spain under the Erasmus+ program

During the second semester of 2023-2024 Anastasiia Savchenko, a 3rd-year student of K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies studied at the Faculty of Tourism at the University of Girona (Spain) under the Erasmus+ international academic mobility program. The academic mobility program provides a grant covering the costs of flight, accommodation, meals, etc.

Anastasiia studied the following courses at the University of Girona: Cruise Management, Cultural Tourism Analysis, Hotel Management, Leisure Facilities, and Introduction to Catalan Language and Culture. All courses were held exclusively in English. Also, Anastasia was engaged in researching the tourism industry of Spain, the development and peculiarities of the country's tourism, as well as its impact on the country's economy and culture.

During academic mobility, Anastasiia attended interesting excursions to the most attractive corners of Girona, various cities of Spain and neighboring countries. She will take this valuable experience with great pleasure in her further journey, and this time will forever remain in her heart filled with unforgettable impressions, new acquaintances and useful knowledge,.
