On 8-9th February 2025, the 2nd stage of the All-Ukrainian competition for the protection of research papers of the pupils-members of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine has been held in 2024/2025 for the initial generation of scientific Department “Earth Sciences” of the “Geography” section.
Professor of the department Kateryna SEHIDA took part in the jury section, together with the professor of the Department of Physical Geography and Cartography Oleksandr ZHEMEROV and the dean of the faculty of geography, history and tourism of the Private Property Higher Educational Institution “International Economic and Humanitarian University named after Academician Stepan Dem’yanchuk” Oleksandr YAKOVCHUK.
Ten papers were presented at the regional stage, which were nominated for a place at the regional stage. In particular, students of Balakli Lyceum No. 1 named after O.A. Trizny, Medvedkovsky Lyceum, Zolochiv Lyceum, Kharkiv Lyceums No. 12, No. 24, No. 31, No. 48, No. 152, No. 162, “Giftedness”. Together with fellow geography teachers of schools from Kharkiv region talented scientists presented their work at the competition. The presentations of the scientific and research papers of the members of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine are devoted to current topics, covered a wide range of painful issues of today, were useful, and informative.
