On February 21 and 22, 2026, the II stage of the All-Ukrainian competition-defense of scientific and research papers of students-members of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the 2025/2026 academic year of the scientific department "Earth Sciences" of the section "Geography" was held.
The Head of the Department Kateryna SEHIDA took part in the jury of the section, together with the Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Geography and Cartography Yulia PRASUL, Associate Professor of the Department of Geography and Tourism of the Private higher educational institution "International University of Economics and Humanities named after Academician Stepan Demyanchuk" Oleksandr YAKOVCHUK, and the teacher of the CI "Kharkiv Lyceum No. 49 of the Kharkiv City Council" Victoria PANKRATYEVA.
Sixteen papers were presented at the regional stage, which took prizes at the district stage. In particular, students of Kharkiv lyceums No. 15, 24, 38, 57, 74, 77, 152, 160, "First Ukrainian School", "Giftedness", Slatyn Lyceum of Dergachiv City Council, Savyn Lyceum of Savynsky Settlement Council of Izyum District, Rohansky Lyceum of Rohansky Settlement Council of Kharkiv District, Runivshchyna Lyceum of Zachepylivka Settlement Council of Berestyn District.
We congratulate our colleagues- geography teachers of schools of Kharkiv region, whose talented students presented their works at the competition. The presented scientific and research papers of pupils-members of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine are devoted to actual topics, covered a wide range of pressing today’s issues, were interesting, and meaningful.
