On October 13, a meeting of the department was held at the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, where among the issues under consideration were:
- analysis of the open lecture "Concepts of socio-demographic development" by D.Sc. in Geography, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Kateryna SEHIDA. N. Kateryna Yurievna SEGHYD;
- analysis of the open lecture "Socio-geographic characteristics of Latin America" by PhD in Geography Kateryna KRAVCHENKO;
- recommendation for the academic title of the professor Kateryna SEHIDA, for the academic title of the professor Assistant Professor Kateryna KRAVCHENKO.
The lecturers of the department highly appreciated the educational and methodological level of the held open lectures, noted the wide range of techniques and methods that were used during the classes, the interesting multimedia accompaniment of the lectures, where not only text, but also graphic, cartographic and photographic material was widely used. During the classes, communication was constantly maintained with the students, who were happy to answer the questions.
Taking into account the results of the open lectures; work experience at the university; availability of certificates of knowledge of the English language; active international activity, which also is confirmed by certificates of internship under the Erasmus+ program in universities of the European Union, in particular in the Czech Republic, Spain, Romania, Estonia; availability of initial methodological and scientific works, in particular publications in specialized publications and publications indexed in scientometric databases, including "Scopus" or "Web of Science" and have an ISSN number confirmed on the website of the International Center for Registration of Periodicals; teaching academic subjects in the state and English languages at a high scientific and methodological level, the staff of the department unanimously voted for the recommendation for the academic title of professor Kateryna SEHIDA and assistant professor Kateryna KRAVCHENKO.
