The lecturers of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies started first classes for students of the Institute of Remote Sensing of the Earth and Earth Sciences of the Hangzhou University. During the current semester lecturers of the department will conduct classes for the 2nd and 3rd-year students within the joint training program for students on the educational program “Geographical Computer Science” and teach the courses "Economic Geography", "Computer Science with Basics of Geoinformatics", and "Geographical Information Systems". Thus, on October 12-14, 2022., D.Sc. in Geography, Prof. Sergiy KOSTRIKOV and PhD in Geography, Assist. Prof. Pavlo KOBYLIN conducted classes on the courses "Computer Science with Basics of Geoinformatics" and "Geographical Information Systems" for 3rd-year students, and D.Sc. in Geography, Prof. Kateryna SEHIDA, PhD in Geography, Assist. Prof. Liudmyla KLIUCHKO and PhD in Geography, Assist. Prof. Kateryna KRAVCHENKO conducted classes in the course "Economic Geography". Teaching of disciplines is carried out in English. According to the results of the first classes, the Chinese students and their supervisors were satisfied with the classes, so we wish our lecturers and Chinese students every success in the future.
