On October 7, lecturers and PhD students of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies joined the online discussion called "Once again about urbicide", where the speakers were Francesco Mazzucelli (University of Bologna) and Kostyantyn Mezentsev (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv). The mentioned event is a part of the cycle of conversations about urbicide and the restoration of cities and communities after the war "UKRAINE AFTER URBICIDES: RESTORATION OF CITIES AND COMMUNITIES", initiated by the Center for Urban Studies, the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the Free University of Brussels and the University of Bologna, aims to consider difficult problems, arising in the reconstruction process, to analyze already accumulated knowledge and experience.
