On September 22, 2021, 2-4 year students of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies visited the Center for Local Studies named after Academician P.T. Tronko of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University within the framework of the curatorial hour. The Deputy Director of the center, Olha VOVK, informed about the special features of the center, scientific work, which conduct the center conducts, excursion business, conferences, exhibitions, projects organized by the Center, different events etc. in which staff of the center take part. In addition, during the meeting Olha told about the special features of the methodology for conducting the excursion, how a guide should behave in unpredictable situations, what to pay attention and consider during organization and conducting excursions for foreign groups. The Deputy Director presented to the students some editions, related to local studies which the the Center for Local Studies named after Academician P.T. Tronko prepared and published.
