On April 9, 2025, as part of the course "History of Urbanization with the Fundamentals of Urban Geography", the 1st-year students of the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies under the guidance of the senior lecturer Daria Vengrin visited the creative space "Svoe", where a meeting took place with the architect-restorer, co-founder of the NGO "Platform of Urban Development" Viktor Dvornikov.
The event was dedicated to the topic "Sustainable development of the city - how?". The students learned not only the theoretical foundations of the issue of sustainable development, but also had the opportunity to develop mini-projects dedicated to the preservation of cultural heritage in our city and learned about ways to develop the city without resources.
Participants worked both online and offline, which made the work especially productive! Thank you Viktor for an interesting event, we hope for further fruitful cooperation!
