On October 29-30, 2019, a table tennis tournament was held within the framework of regional sports competitions "Sport for Life" among students of higher education institutions of Kharkiv region. The second women's team of the university, in which a fourth-year student of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, Ilona Lozova played, became the silver medalist of the tournament.
