Student of the department is studying at the University of Girona (Spain)

During the fall semester, a 4th year student of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies Valeriia Mirenkova will study at the University of Girona under the Erasmus + program. The Academic Exchange Program provides a grant covering the cost for travel, accommodation, meals. Now Valeria is taking an introductory course in Catalan language and culture A1.

During the academic semester, she will also study the following courses:

  • Hotel management
  • Management of cultural heritage
  • Public administration of resources
  • Natural protected areas

All courses will be taught in English.

The student hopes that the academic mobility program will help to get acquainted with the culture, history, traditions of Spain and Catalonia, give the opportunity to travel and meet new interesting friends. Studying at the Spanish University will certainly help to develop language skills, gain new knowledge.

Valeriia is sincerely grateful to the organizers of the program, lecturers of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University for the opportunity to study at the University of Girona.
