Professor from Spain (University of Girona) visited the department

From 14 to 20 October 2019, Professor of the University of Girona (Spain), Josep Vila Subiros, visited the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies as part of the ERASMUS + academic mobility program.

Professor Subiros participated in the International Scientific Conference “Region 2019: Optimal Development Strategy” and the Workshop “Human-geographical Plane of Urban Transformation: Investigation of Gentrification and Renovation Objects in Modern Kharkiv”. Professor Subiros also got acquainted with the historical and architectural monuments of Kharkov, visited the Yermilov Center, the Art Gallery named after G. Semiradsky, Ecopark Feldman and the Botanical Garden of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Together with the leadership of the department The directions of further cooperation in the educational and scientific activity of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University were discussed. and Department of Geography of the University of Girona.

Also, within the framework of academic mobility, Professor Subiros gave a series of lectures within the discussion club of students, graduate students and young scientists of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
