On September 29 and 30, 2025, the International academic conference Aurora “DUAL – Dichotomies in Urban Agendas and Logics” took place at the Department of Humanities of the University of Naples Federico II (Italy). The event was held within the framework of the European University Initiative Aurora 2030 program.
The topic of the conference was a critical rethinking of urban space through the prism of dichotomies - center/periphery, mobility/immobility, inclusion/exclusion, visibility/invisibility, etc.
One of the participants in the conference was a graduate student and a senior lecturer of the department, Daria Venhryn. She presented a report on the topic “URBAN RESILIENCE DURING THE WAR: THE CASE OF KHARKIV (UKRAINE)”. Participation in the conference provided an opportunity to present PhD research to the international scientific community and receive valuable feedback from leading experts in the field of urban planning.
