On November 14, 2019 an open lecture of Assistant Professor of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies Kateryna Kravchenko for the fourth year students of the educational program "Geography" on the topic "Urbanization as a global socio-economic process. Spatial patterns of urbanization". The issues of approaches to the study of modern urban processes, retrospectives of urbanization development in the world, stages of urbanization, examples of erroneous urbanization were considered in the lecture. The modern transformation processes in the urban social and geographical system were analyzed, their types and manifestations were considered on the example of the city of Kharkiv.
