On December 1, 2017 head of the research project, associate professor of the department Kateryna Sehida presented a report on the results of execution the second stage of the research project of young scientists "Development methods of spatial analysis and forecasting the demographic process and resettlement system of the region with purpose of optimization (case study of Kharkiv region)" at the meeting of the Scientific-technical council in V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
At the meeting, two years reports of the research projects for young scientists were presented by their leaders Dr. Valeriy Trusov and Lyubov Khavkina, as well as six research leaders of the reseach projects, who started this year. As a result of the discussion, it was decided to approve the interim reports on the completion the stages of implementation all research projecyts of young University scientists and consider expedient their further implementation. Inna Sandyga, the Deputy Director of the Department for Scientific and Technological Development of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Science Development in Higher Educational Institutions, noted the high level of science development at the University.
In addition, the vice-rector for the scientific work, Dsc., professor Victor Katrich, on behalf of the University leadership, congratulated Kateryna Yuriyivna on the defense of her doctoral thesis and her birthday.
