On January 13, 2019 graduates of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies took part in the Master's graduation ceremony, which traditionally took place at the Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after M.V. Lysenko.
Rector, Academician Vil Bakirov addressed the graduates with a welcoming speech. The graduates were also greeted by the owner and president of the DCH Group, a member of the Supervisory Board of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, an honorary doctor of Karazin University, Olexander Yaroslavsky.
Daria Venhrin, student of the group GCR-62 was recognized as the best student of the Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism in 2019. She was awarded the University Medal.
The modern symphony crossover orchestra "Prime Orchestra" and the student academic choir "Ad libitum" performed during the event.
After the university event, the Dean of the faculty, Vilina Peresadko, congratulated the students in a solemn atmosphere, graduation was held. This year's graduation of the department was marked by a large number of "red" diplomas.
