On October 26, lecturers of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies participated in a specialized webinar for Ukraine "Organization of online learning by institutions of higher education", organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the assistance of the Fund of the President of Ukraine for the Support of Education, Science and Sports together with the institution of higher education of Great Britain, The Open University, which is a world leader in distance education with 50 years of experience. The Open University is the largest university in Great Britain, with more than 200,000 students.
During the webinar, features of Open University functioning were discussed; principles of organizing high-quality online education; basics of educational design; organization of online assessments, etc. The event was held in English.
