On March 3, 2021, the Head of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, D.Sc. in Geography, Professor Liudmyla NIEMETS, D.Sc. in Geography, Professor Konstiantyn MEZENTSEV and D.Sc. in Geography, Associate Professor Kateryna SEHIDA took part in the meeting of the initiative group of human geographers. During the meeting, the possibilities and prospects of organizing a permanent All-Ukrainian workshop on human geography were discussed, possible topics for concluding the work plan of the workshop were suggested. Particular attention was paid to the establishment of the Association of Human Geographers of Ukraine, presentation of Ukrainian human geography in the information space, cooperation in teaching and research activities, interuniversity experience exchange and academic mobility, international cooperation.
