Lecturer from Romania visited the Department

On February 12-16, 2018 the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies was visited by Associate Professor of the Department of Geography, Tourism and Territorial Planning, Faculty of Geography, Tourism and Sports, the University of Oradea (Romania) Cezar MORAR with the aim of lecturing, exchange of experience in scientific and educational activities under the program. Erasmus + on the basis of the agreement between V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and the University of Oradea, signed on January 13, 2016. Presentations of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies of the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and the Department of Geography, Tourism and Territorial Planning at the University of Oradea were held during the Cezar Morar’s visit. He participated in the workshop on the results of the study within the framework of the grant of the Visegrad Fund conducted by the PhD Students of the Department A.V. Mazurova, gave a lecture for students and PhD students, worked with the curricula, academic and scientific literature of the department and with the materials of the Central Scientific Library. Opportunities of the further cooperation, perspective areas of joint publications in foreign editions, indexed in Scopus and / or Web of Science and directions of possible joint international projects were discussed together with the lecturers and scientists of the department. Visit to museums and university centers was organized for the guest (Museum of History of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Archaeological Museum, Landau Center, Henrih Semiradsky Art Gallery), excursions were conducted to familiarize with the peculiarities and interesting places of the city of Kharkiv. including a thematic excursion "Industrial Kharkiv".
