Lecturer of the Department of Economic Geography of the University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland) Andrzej Soczówka lectured on the topic "Economic geography of Poland at the regional level" for students, postgraduates and teachers of the department at the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies on April 4, 2018. The human-geographical position of Poland was revealed, its place were shows among the European countries, administrative-territorial structure, population, natural resources, the economy as a whole, and in particular industry, agriculture, transport, foreign trade and cross-border cooperation of the country were described in the lecture.
