On November 15, 2025, the 10th Regional Student Scientific and Practical Conference of the Kharkiv Territorial Branch of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was held online, in which 112 6-11-years pupils of general secondary and extracurricular education institutions of the Kharkiv region took part. The participants of the conference presented the results of their own research, which covered a wide range of issues of geography and local studies, took an active part in the discussion, which contributed to the identification of areas of further research.
Head of the Department Kateryna SEHIDA took part in the work of the section "Geographical Local Studies", shared her own experience of geographical research and opportunities for studying in Karazin University, as well as practical advice on conducting research, preparing scientific publications and participating in competitions.
