Faculty and students of the department took part in a workshop as part of the project “Urban Hackathon for the Revitalization of Student Campus Spaces”

On December 18, 2025, the 3rd workshop was held as part of the project "Urban Hackathon for the Revitalization of Student Campus Spaces", which is implemented with the financial support of the International Visegrad Fund within the framework of the V4 Gen Mini-Grant program.

During the workshop, the third section of the future monograph was discussed, which is dedicated to the urban hackathon for the revitalization of student campuses in Gliwice. The section provides the context of the transformations of the city and the functioning of the university campus, describes the structure and course of the hackathon, and also presents the results of the workshop - student projects for the revitalization of the sports complex of Karazin University. Special attention is paid to generalized recommendations, SWOT analysis, social, architectural and planning solutions, space use scenarios and expert comments on further directions of research and project activities.
