On September 20, 2017 at the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies took place an international scientific and practical seminar "Anthropogenic factor of landscape changes and their socio-geographical implications".
The seminar was attended by scientists from Spain, Germany, Ukraine. Professors Josep Vila Subirios (University of Girona, Spain), Professor S.V. Kostrikov (Kharkiv Karazin University), associate professor V.P. Vorovka (Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University), assistant professor I.O. Pilipenko (Kherson State University) are delivered their reports.
The reports raised the urgent problems of interaction between man and the environment, emphasized the role of geographic science in their solution, outlined prospective directions of regional scientific research aimed at optimizing interaction in the system "Nature - Population - Economy".
