According to the Cooperation Agreement between Hangzhou Normal University and V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, during September-November 2023, Associate Professor of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, PhD in Geography, Associate Professor Pavlo KOBYLIN is on a business trip to Hangzhou Normal University (Hangzhou, People's Republic of China) for the purpose of developing educational and research activities in the field of higher education, as well as giving lectures, conducting scientific research, seminars and consultations. Also participating in the Hangzhou Normal University business trip are: Mykola MCHEDLOV-PETROSYAN (Doctor of Chemistry Sciences, prof., head of the Department of Physical Chemistry of the Faculty of Chemistry), Tetyana CHEIPESH (PhD in Chemistry, lecturer of the Department of Physical Chemistry of the Faculty of Chemistry), Kyrylo VORONOV (PhD in Law, associate professor of the Department of Civil and Legal Disciplines of the Faculty of Law), Anton GONCHARENKO (Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor of the Department of Solid State Physics of the Faculty of Physics), Sergii LEBEDIEV (Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Low Temperature Physics and the Department of Experimental Physics of the Faculty of Physics), Anastasiia KLIESHCH (PhD in Geogrpahy, Deputy Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Ecology for Educational Work). All travel expenses are covered by the Hangzhou Normal University (organizational expenses related to obtaining a visa, travel, accommodation and stay).
As part of the joint educational and professional program "GIS-Science: Cartography, geoinformatics and cadastre" with Hangzhou Normal University, the lecturers of the department: PhD in Geography, Associate Professor Pavlo KOBYLIN together with Doctor of Geographical Sciences, professor Sergiy KOSTRIKOV (online) teaches the subjects "Computer Science with Basics of Geoinformatics" and "Geographical Information Systems" in English to 3rd-year students of the Kharkiv Institute of Hangzhou Normal University. During his stay at Hangzhou Normal University, Pavlo KOBYLIN got acquainted with the infrastructure of the university campus, with the work of the private company "Hangzhou Daodao Agricultural Science and Technology Limited Company" (HZDD), which conducts research and application of big data in agriculture, discussed the possibilities of establishing cooperation in scientific activities with the professor of the Department of Sociology and Social Studies of the University of Milan Bicocca (Italy) Dr. Patricia FARINA, who is also at Hangzhou Normal University as part of her research visit and got acquainted with the natural, historical and cultural heritage of Hangzhou.
