On January 28 2023 Assistant Professor of the department Yuriy Kandyba held a lecture for teachers of general secondary education institutions on the topic "Geopolitical factors and consequences of the war of the Russian Federation with Ukraine" on the subject "Reflection of geopolitical realities in the process of teaching geography in a general secondary education institution" as part of the promotion program qualification "Innovative approaches to teaching geography in terms of the concept of the New Ukrainian School", initiated by the "Professional Development" project.
During the lecture, the following issues were considered: the factors of the Russian Federation's war with Ukraine; Ukraine's relations with the Russian Federation after the collapse of the USSR; geopolitics of Putin's Russia in relation to Ukraine; consequences of the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine in 2022
