On March 20, 2026, within the framework of the project “Nature Restoration – challenges and opportunities for future landscape specialists” (FutureLand) under the Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships for Higher Education (KA220-HED) program, another webinar was held on the topic: “Ecological, Legal and Planning dimensions of the EU Nature Restoration Regulation: An Italian Perspective”, which was attended by more than 100 students, PhD students, scientists, representatives of various enterprises and organizations from 9 countries around the world.
During the webinar, Prof. Fabio Pranovi (Caʼ Foscari University of Venice), Prof. Gabriele Torelli (University of Iuav in Venice / Università Iuav di Venezia), Sebastian Carrer (Thetis / Thetis), Daniele Capitani (Municipality of Ravenna / Municipality of Ravenna), Graziano Caramori (Delta Institute / Istituto Delta) in their presentations revealed the ecological, legal and planning aspects of nature restoration with a special emphasis on coastal and lagoon environments, characterized the Po River Delta (Italy).
