On March 24, 2026, a meeting was held with a graduate from the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, within the framework of the "Career Week" of the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
The speaker of the meeting was Oleksandr (call sign "Akult") - a graduate graduate from the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, a volunteer, a former topographer of the artillery fire control section, and now a serviceman of the 3rd Army Corps, a senior sergeant of a UAV company. Within the framework of the topic "Geographers at War. Prospects and practical application of skills" Oleksandr shared his practical experience of applying geography in military affairs and demonstrated how professional knowledge helps in performing combat missions.
The meeting aroused lively interest among students and became an example of how academic knowledge is transformed into real skills in today's conditions.
We sincerely thank the speaker for the time spent, the meaningful conversation, openness and defense of our country! We are proud of our graduates!
