On February 22, 2023, a joint curatorial hour was held for students of all courses of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies on the topic "Historical periodization of the Russian-Ukrainian war". Assistant Professor of the department Yurii Kandyba conducted the curatorial hour
The lecturer familiarized students and colleagues with the stages of military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, revealed the factors and consequences of the full-scale invasion of Russia. In particular, historical, ethnic, economic and geopolitical factors of military aggression were analyzed. The possible socio-economic, demographic, and geopolitical consequences of military aggression for Ukraine, Russia itself, and the world community are revealed.
The lecture ended with a lively discussion, which reflected the relevance of the discussed problems. Students actively asked questions, expressed their own vision of certain events and processes of the past and present.
