We invite you to participate in the first webinar in the series on the topic: “The Nature Restoration Regulation: Scientific Foundations, Policy Framework and Implementation Challenges”, which will take place on January 30, 2025.

The webinar is held as part of the project “Nature Restoration – challenges and opportunities for future landscape specialists” (FutureLand) under the Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships for Higher Education (KA220-HED) program together with colleagues from Spain, Italy and Finland. The K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies of the Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism is the executor of the grant project from V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
The webinar will consider the main provisions of the EU Law on Nature Restoration, ways of its implementation, problems of management and the place of higher education in supporting nature restoration across Europe.
The webinar will include reports from representatives of the European Commission, scientists, a round table with EU institutions, NGOs and representatives of enterprises involved in environmental protection, nature restoration, as well as an and an open Q&A session.
