We invite you to take part in the second webinar within the series on the topic: "The Nature Restoration Law in practice: Roles, responsibilities and expectations in the Finnish forest sector", which will take place on February 27, 2026.

Start of the event: 10:00.

Working language: English.

The webinar is held as part of the project "Nature Restoration – challenges and opportunities for future landscape specialists" (FutureLand) under the Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships for Higher Education program (KA220-HED) together with colleagues from Spain, Italy and Finland. The K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies of the Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism is the executor of the grant project from V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

The webinar will consider the issues of implementation of the EU Regulation on the nature restoration and practical aspects of the restoration of forests and peatlands in Finland.

The webinar will include reports from representatives of Finnish government agencies, private enterprises and academia.
