Preliminary defense of the Phd thesis of the PhD student of the department of Human Geography and Regional Studies Mazurova A.V. on the topic: "Human-geographical features of the functioning the city social and geographical system (case study of the city of Kharkiv)"was held at the department on April 13, 2018. Scientific supervisor - Doctor of geographical sciences, professor Kostyantin Niemets. The report aroused lively discussion and, based on the results of the discussion, it was decided to recommend work for defence.
