International Student Conference took place at the department

A regular International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Phd Students and Young Scientists "Region-2018: Human-geographical Aspects" was held at the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies April on 3-4, 2018

71 participant, including 3 from foreign countries: from Serbia (University of Belgrade), Bosnia and Herzegovina (University of Banja Luka); Poland (University of Silesia in Katowice) submitted applications and theses of reports for participation in the conference.

7 D.Sc, 8 PhD, 6 PhD students, more than 50 students, as well as scientific staff, assistants, applicants and others among the participants of the conference.

The authors sent 52 thesis papers, which are thematically included in 5 sections.

8 participants spoke on the issues of the formation smart cities and smart communities, development of the services sector, natural population movement and urbanization processes in the regions of Ukraine, production of vehicles in Ukraine, environmental monitoring, use of abandoned military territories at the plenary meeting of the conference.
