Senior lecturer and PhD student of the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, Daria Venhryn won the "Young Teacher" nomination in the annual "Morning Dawns -2026" award from Ranok Publishing House. This year, 1,857 applications were received from educators from different parts of Ukraine. Each of them has a living story: about the class and children, responsibility and care, fatigue and strength, faith in education even when it is very difficult. Daria entered the semi-finals of the award (top 50 teachers), and she was recognized in the "Young Teacher" nomination and received a special prize at online event held on February 26, 2026.
In her report "How to Grow an Intellectual Future in the Face of Modern Challenges," Daria emphasized the need for schools to maintain partnerships with higher education, and thanked the faculty and department for many years of cooperation.
