Faculty and students of the department took part in a workshop as part of the project “Urban Hackathon for the Revitalization of Student Campus Spaces”

On January 15, the 4th final seminar was held within the framework of the project “Urban Hackathon on Revitalization of Student Campus Spaces”, which is implemented with the financial support of the International Visegrad Fund within the framework of the V4 Gen Mini-Grant program.

The co-organizers of the project are the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the Department of Urban and Regional Planning of the Silesian Technical University and the Department of Economic and Social Geography of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The participants of the project are students of the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies: Olha PODPRIATOVA, Viktoriia STUPAK, Orest DUNIKOV, Oksana APANASENKO, Oksana MOROZ, Maria ORLENKO, Anastasiia PRYKHODKO, who work under the supervision of the department's lecturers: D.Sc. in Geography, Prof. Kateryna SEHIDA, Ph.D. in Geography, Assoc. Prof. Kateryna KRAVCHENKO, Senior Lecturer Darya VENHRYN.

During the workshop, the first version of the future monograph, prepared based on the results of the joint work of the participants of the project, was presented.

During the discussion, the participants focused on the content and structural refinement of the publication. They analyzed the logic of the construction of sections, the consistency of cases and analytical materials, and identified aspects that require additions or clarification. Special attention was paid to the visual component of the monograph, namely the concept of the cover, graphic design and compliance of the design with the general idea of ​​the project.

The final workshop became an important stage of summarizing the results obtained, exchanging professional comments and forming a common vision of the final version of the monograph. The work continues!
