On December 18, 2025, lecturers of the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, members of the working group from V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, took part in an online working meeting on the project on the topic: "Nature Restoration – challenges and opportunities for future landscape specialists" (FutureLand), funded by the Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships for Higher Education program (KA220-HED). The participants of the project are the University of East Finland (Finland), the University of Girona (Universitat de Girona, Girona), the University of Venice (Université luav di Venezia, Italy), the Regional Council of North Karelia (Finland), the Provincial Council of Girona (Diputacio de Girona), Ente Parco Regionale Veneto Delta del Po (Italy) and V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
During the working meeting, the participants of the project discussed dissemination and promotion of the project, the plan of the first webinar, which will reveal the general characteristics of the EU Nature Restoration Law, the challenges and opportunities for its implementation for higher education and landscape management.
