On October 6, 2025, the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies held a scientific and methodological workshop on the international project: “Nature Restoration - challenges and opportunities for future landscape specialists” (FutureLand), which will be carried out in cooperation with colleagues from Finland, Spain, Italy and funded by the Erasmus+ KA220-HED - Cooperation partnerships in higher education (KA220-HED) program during 2025-2028. Lecturers and PhD students of the department attended the workshop.
During the workshop, the content of the project, the role of the department in its implementation were discussed (the department is the leading partner for the implementation of work package 5 "Impact and dissemination of project results"), and a common position was developed on the implementation of the project.
