Assistant professor of the department was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the RMI “Kharkiv Organizational and Methodological Center for Tourism”

On September 25, 2025, a solemn event was held in Kharkiv to celebrate the World Tourism Day and Tourism Day in Ukraine, organized by the Regional Municipal Institution "Kharkiv Organizational and Methodological Center for Tourism" with the support of the Kharkiv Regional Council and the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration. Heads and employees of leading institutions of culture, science and education, the industrial sector, public organizations, local authorities and local self-government, involved in the development of local tourism in the Kharkiv region attended the event.

On the occasion of the holiday, the best employees in the tourism industry of the region were awarded. In particular, Iryna SKRYL, PhD in Geography, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Regional Municipal Institution "Kharkiv Organizational and Methodological Center for Tourism".
