On February 19-20, 2025, the XVIII All-Ukrainian Philosophical Historical and Local Studies Conference of Pupil Youth “Know Yourself, Your Family, Your People” was held. Associate Professor of K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies Iryna SKRYL took part in the plenary session of the conference together with the Vice-Rector for Research and Teaching Anatoliy BABICHEV, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy Ivan KARPENKO, Senior Researcher of the Department “Ukrainian Ethnological Center” of the Institute of Art History, Folklore and Ethnology named after M. Rylskyi of NAS of Ukraine, Valentyna SUSHKO, Director of the Municipal Institution “Kharkiv Regional Station of Young Tourists” of the Kharkiv Regional Council Valentyna REDINA.
The conference was held online, young local researchers from 24 regions of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv submitted 193 papers on the topic of the relevance of the Hryhoriy Skovoroda’s heritage, ethnographic features of the region, global consequences of the war for Ukraine and the world, spiritual treasures of the region, the meaning of life in the views of contemporary youth.
Following the conference, all participants received certificates, and it is planned to publish a collection of abstracts of research papers.
